Contract signing for solar-powered water system of Sta. Cruz Multi-Purpose Cooperative

In support of community livelihoods in Sarangani and Sultan Kudarat, the SOLARES project through its livelihood and PURE (Productive Uses of Renewable Energy) component prepared 11 PURE projects with its partner cooperatives and associations as beneficiaries of this support. These include solar-powered machinery such as water systems, rice mill, feed mill, and coffee processing machines.


On August 3, 2021, the bid evaluation committee together with the project staff conducted the contract signing for the supply, delivery & installation of solar-powered water systems LOT 1 (SB-SOLARES-PURE-21-01) with JL-TY Construction. This is a result of the bid evaluation, the acceptance and submissions made by the bidder, issuance of the notice of award.


JL-TY Construction represented by Mr. Jerome T. Losanes with Mr. Winnie Fred Rotor as witness together with Mr. Martiniano L. Magdolot, SOLARES Project Director, and Ms. Liza D. Hora SOLARES Project Admin and Finance Officer signed the supply contract for SB-SOLARES-PURE-21-01/Lot1.


This particular solar-powered water system is designed for the goat dairy farm and nursery of the SOLARES project livelihood partner Sta. Cruz Multi-Purpose Cooperative and water for nearby communities.
