Contract signing for solar-powered water system of Tinalon Farmers Association

In support of community livelihoods in Sarangani and Sultan Kudarat, the SOLARES project through its livelihood and PURE (Productive Uses of Renewable Energy) component prepared 11 PURE projects with its partner cooperatives and associations as beneficiaries of this support. These include solar-powered machinery such as water systems, rice mill, feed mill, and coffee processing machines.

As a result of the bid evaluation for LOT 2 (negotiated bidding) supply, delivery & installation of solar-powered water systems last August 17 and the issuance of the notice of award on August 18, the bid evaluation committee together with the project staff conducted the contract signing for LOT 2 (SB-SOLARES-PURE-21-01/NB) on August 24, 2021. JL-TY Construction represented by Mr. Jerome T. Losanes together with Mr. Martiniano L. Magdolot, SOLARES Project Director, and Ms. Liza D. Hora SOLARES Project Admin and Finance Officer signed the supply contract SB-SOLARES-PURE-21-01/NB, LOT 2.


This solar-powered water system will be constructed at the Tinalon Farmers Association operating at Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat Province.
